Devizes Gay Night

On October the 8th Devizes will see the arrival of its first gay night called ‘The Scene’.

The Three Crowns on Maryport Street is set to hold the only gay night in Devizes on a monthly basis. Landlord, Phil Coleman says “It’s about time someone catered for the gay community in Devizes and the surrounding areas. We’ve got the perfect function room to play music and create a relaxing environment.”

WSMSHMens Sexual Health will be offering on site Chlamydia screening, advice and information, plus condoms and lubricant (they will be located opposite the Shopping Zone).

If you would like to become one of the MSH volunteers to work with them for future events then please visit their stall at Swindon Pride. Also, on the day MSH will be promoting the Wiltshire LGBT Youth Group, 2BME (which launches on 24 August).

Rainbow Ball Update

The Rainbow Ball was Swindon Pride's first major fundraising event, held at Menzies Hotel in Swindon. The charming Cherry Poppins opened the entertainment along with WMD front singers who provided an array of cheesy 80's songs until the end of the evening. The evening was a great success and with a fundraising total of £401 - Thanks to all that attend and supported this event.
